When is check-in and check-out time?
Your check-in time is 4:00 PM and your departure time is 10:00 AM. If you’re arriving early, have a look at our Instagram Page or our Local Area Guide. We’ve shared lots of things to do in the area.
How do I access the Salty Mermaid?
The condo is located on the second floor of Building A (the building closest to the ocean). The condo is A8 and is the corner unit closest to the pool.

Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes - we provide this service for your convenience and enjoyment. However, please note that you are responsible for its safe and appropriate use. If there is any loss of service, please contact us.
APPLIANCE INSTRUCTIONS/INFORMATION
Is the kitchen stocked?
Yes! All devices should be fairly straightforward to use. Here are some specifics that you might want to know:
The dishwasher uses dishwashing pods
The coffee machine includes a standard drip coffee maker and pods. We will provide a coffee starter kit for your first morning.
The oven and stove are electric.
Laundry Appliances
You will find a stackable washer and dryer in the kitchen
ENJOYING THE OUTDOORS
Swimming Pool and Hot Tub
We have a year-round outdoor hot tub available for your use. Please also pay special attention to the safety rules which are located at the hot tub. Additionally there is a seasonal pool available.
Private Balcony
There is a private balcony at the Salty Mermaid that will lead you directly to the pool and the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee or listen to the waves during the evening from the balcony. There is a closet on the balcony where beach chairs and toys are stored. Please secure the sliding glass balcony doors when not entering and exiting and please keep balcony glass doors to the bedroom and living room closed when using the air conditioning and heat.
Beach Equipment
Help yourselves to the buckets, spades, and chairs. Please just return the beach kit in working order and as sandfree as possible!
BEFORE YOU DEPART
Before your departure, we’d appreciate if you would take care of the following:
Leave the beds unmade
Place used towels in the shower
Clean any last minute dishes and don’t forget anything you may have left in the refrigerator or freezer
Empty all the trash to the dumpster in the parking lot
Lock all doors & windows
House Rules
Parties or events: Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.
Smoking: Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the home and within a 50- foot radius of the house.
Checkout: Checkout is at 10 A.M.
Trash and recycling: Please dispose of trash in the trash bins at the front of the building near the road
Noise: Guests and visitors must keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties—especially during nighttime hours (e.g. 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.), and upon arrival and departure.
Parking: You may park two vehicle in the parking lot of the property. Parking is on a first come, first served basis. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Illegal activities: All illegal activities, not limited to the use of illegal substances, are strictly prohibited.
Maintenance: Please contact us in the event that anything breaks or isn’t functioning properly, and we will do our best to address it during your stay.
Fire prevention: Do not smoke or use candles indoors, and be sure to turn off the stove when it’s not in use to prevent fires.
Animals: Animals are not allowed on the property.
Age Requirement: We require 50% of the party to be over 25 years of age. (children with an adult excluded.)
DAMAGES & CLEANLINESS: Please communicate any damages to the owners as soon as you can and no less than 24 hours after the damage occurs. Fees will be assessed for any significant damages beyond normal wear and tear. We have excellent cleaners, however if you find any cleanliness issues, they must be communicated within 12 hours of check-in to allow for our cleaners to remedy the situation. We do NOT refund for cleanliness issues noted only upon checkout.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation will follow the rental site policy.
NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED IN THE RENTAL. Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property. This includes any use of the rental that causes it to be occupied by more than listed renters or preapproved guests. Have fun, but please be respectful of our neighbors.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense, including a booking made on behalf of someone else, will be subject to forfeiture of rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS: Any exceptions to the above-mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
The home is privately owned; we are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to the premises and acknowledges that he/she has been advised to arrange adequate personal insurance cover for all members of party to cover all travel, personal risks/injuries and liabilities, and any cancellation.
Security Camera: We do have an outdoor security camera on the property to verify guests in our home. They cover the front entrance. They are not to be blocked or disabled. While they do record audio and video, we will not monitor them except in verifying occupancy and resolving issues.
